That is, you position the product in the mind of the prospect.” This ad was definitely designed to position Hyundai the brand and not Genesis the car (byproduct). I see this as Hyundai’s preemptive strike at a long-term positioning strategy to win market share from the American and Japanese manufacturers, and we all have a front row seat…. but I’m just not sure I like the tagline “Your stories inspire our innovative thinking”.
